C. Muhammed Faizi was born on 9th March 1955 at Pannur village, Calicut, India. He is one of the leading visionary and educationalists who marked his unique personality as a thinker, writer, orator and social revivalist. His ideal writing style, rhythmic speaking skills and thoughts have a trajectory influence among the Muslim youth in Kerala. As a scholar who leads and drives a scholarly community, C.Muhammed Faizi has distinctive principles and philosophies that mark the wisdom and academic excellence of the young generation. Profound knowledge gathered from widespread readings of traditional and modern texts nurtured him to meet the most requirements of the contemporary Scholars, thus formed his intelligentsia that competes with the current society. His leadership skills and ability to manage communal issues and orchestrating social welfare initiatives, especially for the minority community, enabled him to take shoulder the responsibility as the chairman of the Haj committee of Kerala. He became part of a methodical renaissance in the neglected and ‘orthodox’ Islamic seminary system through the most vibrant Islamic institute in India, Jamia Markaz, by mentoring and giving in-depth learning in authentic religious texts, modern science, arts and international languages to thousands of students across India. C. Muhammed Faizi has attended many public seminars and including government levels that address the issues of the Muslim community in the attention of various governments.
